Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported the Griffith QCA Graduate Exhibition. It was an amazing night with such a huge turnout!
Pictured are myself, Kaitlyn Turner, Bronwyn Ketels and Ingrid Bartkowiak. Bronwyn and Ingrid very kindly participated in my portraiture project while Kaitlyn stepped in to wear my latest expanded practice piece, Ruby red satin dress (217 years).
Asking someone to wear one of my painted dresses was something that I have not tried before. This new direction into performance is something I would like to work on in the future.
Opening night visitors
Textile artist and stylist Elizabeth Kingston took time out to look through the Centenary book of interviews.
Nat Wood and Alee Lee, both emerging artists, stopped by as well
