As part of the Not quite there immersive project to be held in November-December 2022, I teamed up with sound and video artist Timothy Fairless to create a sound composition. This sound composition will be buried in the installation component of the show. The aim of the sound composition is to further express the project's theme, which is to create an unsettling sense of the uncanny by blending familiar and unfamiliar sounds.
I had a fantastic time stretching and warping ambient recordings in the sound studio with Tim, and we are very excited to share our work with you when the show opens.
