Thanks to the amazing Allana and all the team at Salamanca Arts Centre, my rolling solo show The Semiotics of the Dress will take over Top Gallery for the whole month of February! This iteration of the project presents all new work - the Dear Feminism series, the Don't get your dress dirty series, and Good advice not to be taken.
I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Nipaluna (Hobart) and Lutruwita (Tasmania) on which the Salamanca Arts Centre stands, and pay my respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.

This exhibition is a rescheduled, rescheduled show because of the unpredictable situation in which we find ourselves with regards the pandemic, and has been in the pipeline since May 2020. I am very fortunate to have this project come to fruition and that my work is able to travel to Lutruwita without me - the brilliant team at SAC will be installing it for me in my absence. Thank you!
Good advice not to be taken, 2021, artist book and vintage poison bottles, installation view
I thoroughly recommend SAC and their large program of exhibition spaces, artist residences and accommodation options. Jump on their website https://www.salarts.org.au/ for more information.
